Cabo Azul Resort: A gorgeous new resort in Los Cabos
May 2009

I recently took a 3 night trip to the Cabo Azul Resort. This hotel is exquisite. The pictures accurately depict the resort's beauty and charm. From the pool to the rooms to the restaurants, the hotel developer spared no expense when creating a luxurious ambiance.

Cabo AzulMuch of my time was spent at the pool or at one of the cabanas on the beach. Each pool/cabana chair has a thick cushion which feels like an extremely comfortable mattress pad. While at the pool, you can stare out at the 3-tiered infinity pool or at the ocean waves. The waiters were friendly as was the entire hotel staff. All of the staff spoke English pretty well. The prices seemed about average with any resort in Los Cabos, $5 beers and $10-$25/person restaurant meals.

I took advantage of the spa and received a 50 minute full body massage at one of the beach cabanas. The ocean waves were completely calming and the whole thing seemed very serene. The spa amenities included a jacuzzi, cold water bath, sauna, and a steam room.

The room was very nice and had a full kitchen, and jacuzzi in the bedroom. The king size bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The sofa was a pull-out sleeper as well.

Anyone staying at the Cabo Azul Resort will surely not be disappointed. Click here to view the resort.

Happy Vacationing!
