Chris and I enjoyed our stay!!! It was fabulous - the Hotel food and service was incredible. Very fresh fish and the best ceviche that we have ever had (as compared with many of the finest restaurants in Houston). Unfortunately we had reservations/travel scheduled in the midst of the Flu and still the staff was wonderful and it was perfect!! I highly recommend Save On Resorts - very professional!! Thank you!!! Throughout the Yucatán, Christmas is celebrated with processions and mass. Children go door to door singing Christmas songs and asking for donations. The most important day of the Christmas season is December 24, known as Nochebuena (Holy Night), when families gather to eat a traditional midnight dinner. No gift giving is done at this time.
