The resort we stayed at - The Occidental Allegro - was a very nice place. The grounds were pristine, the beaches were comfortable and warm, our cleaning service was great and the people were very nice. In all, our experience was pleasant.

Our Lady of Guadalupe On the eve of the first day, thousands gather at Cozumel's Virgin of Guadalupe church for prayers and blessings before beginning a pilgrimage that will last far into the night, taking them to the east side of the island, then to the southern tip and back again to San Miguel and Corpus Christi church. While the route is generally covered on foot in a relay fashion, others make the journey in decorated cars or trucks as well as the occasional bicycle.
