10th Annual Winterfest 2010 Presented by the Daytona Beach Symphony Society, this annual classical music festival will feature performances by the acclaimed Bruckner Orchestra Linz; Virsky Ukrainian National Dance Company; The Capitol Steps; Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonia of the Nations; Verdi's Rigoletto; Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. The event will also include a black tie dinner dance.

2009 Christmas Boat Parade (6:30 pm) The decorated boats will assemble north of the Seabreeze Bridge and proceed south on the Halifax River through downtown Daytona Beach. The boats will then enter the North Basin, passing the Halifax River Yacht Club and proceed into the South Basin of the Halifax Harbor Marina for judging. There are many good viewing points along the river, including the Seabreeze, Main Street and Memorial Bridges. Non members of the Halifax River Yacht Club are welcomed to this private club for this annual event and may view the parade from the clubhouse with a paid reservation.

Medieval Yuletide Feast (6:30 pm) Daytona State College, J. M. Goddard Theater (Bldg. 230), Daytona Beach Campus, 1200 W. Int'l Speedway Blvd. Its origins reach back as far as the medieval and renaissance periods. Guests are announced as they arrive and escorted to their seats at the banquet tables in the J. M. Goddard Theater which is transformed into a medieval English castle hall with banners, sword-and-shield sconces and candles by the hundreds. A ceremonial entrance by the Royal household heralds the start of the evening's performance during which a sumptuous meal is served. Guests are treated to a celebration of Christmas by the 60-voice Daytona State Choir, Brass Choir and the Courtly Dancers and the Halifax Consort, all in period costume. Always a sellout, so get your tickets early. Box office hours are Wednesday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Daytona State Box Office in the lobby of the Theater Center. The Ponce Inlet Lighthouse invites you to join us for an Early New Year's Celebration!. Enjoy family oriented activities and kid's crafts. Visit our lighthouse keeper (in living history mode) as he describes his duties at the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Then join him as he talks about the history of the Cape Canaveral Lighthouse, and demonstrates the maintenance duties on the First Order Fresnel Lens. Included with regular admission, no advance reservations required. Regular admission to the lighthouse museum is $5 for adults (12 years and older), and $1.50 for children.
