Melia Caribe was more than we expected. The 9-restaurants were very good. Normally, the all-inclusive resort food and drinks are mediocre at best, but I enjoyed premium tequila margaritas throughout my stay. This was refreshing since I don't do rum. We had to force ourselves to leave the resort and go on an excursion to Island Saona. We can't wait to return with our grown sons. It will be a great affordable reunion.
