Kauai, Hawaii - United States  View Map

Situated among the natural contours of its hillside and bluff site, the 219 suite resort comprises 10 two, three and four story buildings. The terraced hillside features a tropical garden with koi ponds, a waterfall and a lagoon pool.

The suites are decorated island-style, each having a full kitchen with lots of counter space; a washer and dryer; two phones; a carpeted living room next to a tiled dining area; a spacious patio or balcony (lanai); and a master bath with deep soaking tub, roomy stall shower and twin sinks. Poipu Beach - 3 Minute Walk
Head to the south shore of Kauai to visit one of America's best beaches (The "Travel Channel" recently named Poipu America's Best Beach). The picturesque waters of Poipu make it a very popular beach, even with local marine life. Large green sea turtles often swim in these waters, while endangered Hawaiian Monk seals have been known to sunbathe unabashedly on the shore. Grab a snorkel and mask and explore Poipu's sheltered coves. Snorkel in adjacent Nukumoi Point to see colorful varieties of fish. Or simply pack a picnic and spend the day at Poipu Beach Park with the family. There's no better way to end your day in Kauai than watching a stunning sunset in Poipu.
Lihue Airport (LIH) - 15 Miles
The airport is located 15 miles from The Point at Poipu, an estimated drive time of 20 minutes. Transportation options are available at the airport, but it is recommended by the resort to rent a car. Parking at the resort is FREE. If you do not plan on renting a car, shuttle service is available. You can make a reservation with SpeediShuttle by visiting their wesbite at SpeediShuttle.com. Estimated shuttle cost per person is $25 round-trip. The shuttle cost shown is only an estimate and will vary depending on time of travel.

SaveOnResorts.com revealed itself on a Google search. As a single mom of two and a teacher, I am only able to travel using miles earned from paying my daughter's UCLA tuition/dorm, plus hotel deals. SaveOnResorts helped to extend my vacation in Kauai for an additional four days with a good deal at the Point at Poipu. The resort was lovely, the pricing reasonable, and the presentation informative. I hope to use SaveOnResorts.com for next summer's trip to Maui. Mahalo!

Saveonresorts did a good job. I was afraid that they might have oversold the quality of the resort but they did not--it was great. Thank you SaveOnResorts. We will use you again.

I was skeptical about the great deal. It seemed to good to be true. After completing the trip, we did not have any disappointments. The package was as represented on the website.

Timesharing condo is much better way to travel without being worried about the quality and the safety of lodging ... Points systems is so flexible that it encouraged us to travel around the world.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort that was provided by SaveOnResorts. It gave us the opportunity to visit a new resort and compare with what we own and how we could improve our situation by joining a point system.
